One of my favorite parts of the process was the discovery phase, where we would research, conduct interviews, listen to focus groups, and dive into a better understanding of a brand and its category or sector. We would analyze its toolbox, digital and social presence, competitors, other impactful brands, and design trends that could inspire a new direction.

Key visuals help define how much a brand can impact its audience. Designing those is exciting because it gives a beautiful representation of what your brand will show up as once in the marketing funnel.

Along with the fun of designing key visuals, the cross-platform process is stimulating. For example, setting up a render scene in Cinema4d, Adobe Dimension, or the software one is comfortable with and figuring out from a production standpoint which is the best way to move forward regarding texturing and lighting, file output, and whether or not other software is needed.
